Trendy Lash Styles is a leading full-service beauty salon and eyelash extension studio in Clearwater, Florida. We have been open for almost six years helping individuals feel beautiful and confident when they leave our salon.
Our training classes will take you through the step-by-step process of applying eyelash extensions. As beginners or advanced lash technicians, we have different classes for everyone in their lash journey.
In our training classes, you will be instructed by our master lash tech with years of experience in the industry. Trendy Lashes training classes are a hands-on learning in-person course. You will receive a detailed student training booklet with vital information for continued learning in your lashing journey in the classroom and outside practice. Each training class is tailored to provide you with all the knowledge, practical skills, product utilization, and techniques to successfully create beautiful eyelash extension sets.
Once you finish a Trendy Lash Styles training class, you will received an official certification of completion. You will leave the course feeling more than confident in your skills to take care of your clients and give them the best eyelash extension lash set possible!
Beginners
The Classic individual and or Handmade Fans eyelash extension in-person training class is best for beginners or have little to prior experience. This training will show you the appropriate technique for pre-application, the application process, safety and sanitation procedures, and expert knowledge of the products being used. The student will be provided with a professional training booklet, tools, and training lashes for the class.
Certification received upon class completion.
Optional: Beginners take-home kit is available.
Once completed you will have access to professional products from Trendy Lash Styles, future discounted courses, and access to an exclusive certified eyelash community.
Group and One-On-One training classes are available through registration.

Advanced
The Advanced Volume hand-made fans eyelash extension in-person training class is best for intermediate or those with prior experience in making eyelash fans. This training will show you techniques to elevate your fans, speed, and creation of different eyelash styles, and different volume fan techniques.
Certification received upon class completion.
This class is great for adding more to your current skills and certifications to elevate your overall certified lash qualifications.
The student will be provided with a professional training booklet, tools, and training lashes for the class.
Optional: Take-home kit is available.
Once completed you will have access to professional products from Trendy Lash Styles, future discounted courses, and access to an exclusive certified eyelash community.

Our classes are one day of 6-8 hours of training with an hour lunch break!
No! Our classes are offered to beginners and advanced lash artists.
Once completing the class and receiving our certification, you will be certified to do lashes.
Trendy Lash Styles does not give lash tech licenses. Your cosmetology/ esthetician licenses will be obtained by attending a state-regulated school and passing the state board test in your state.
After completing our training class & receiving your lash certification, you will need to obtain a valid state-regulated license to work professionally in this field in the state of Florida. Regulations will vary by state.
In Florida, the state does not require a specific certification for applying eyelash extensions, but it does require someone to obtain a cosmetologist, esthetician, full specialist, facial specialist or medical license.
Absolutely! This helps build credibility with your clients. The eyes are a sensitive area and you want your clients to trust you. Being a certified professional shows you took all the necessary education and practice towards being a well rounded eyelash technician.
When obtaining your cosmology license, the school trains you in hair, nails, lashes, and skin.
Taking an eyelash training class you will obtain deeper knowledge and in-depth education in the procedures, safety, and technique. The eyelash extension certification is beneficial as it covers the ins and outs of applying eyelash extensions.
Our training class includes a student learning kit that has everything you need to begin your lash journey. There is enough material for a few clients and continued practice.

Yes, for the intermediate and advanced lash technician.
In Florida, you need to complete a minimum of 260 hours in an accredited school to become a licensed esthetician/facial specialist, to be eligible to take a lash extension certification course with a live model.
There are limited seats available in each training class. This holds your seat in the class.
We are happy to reschedule your training! Your deposit will remain to hold your seat in our next training class. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you not able to make your registered class.
Yes! We want to be a part of your continued education. You will have exclusive access to our group page with other lash technicians in their journey. This is an open community to ask all questions!
